Our 2008 Salsa frames showed up a few weeks ago and so far we've gotten one built up for the floor. Shown here is the all new La Cruz, a True Temper OX Platinum steel cyclocross bike with disc brakes. We built this one with a 10 speed Sram Rival gruppo, Avid BB 7 mechanical disc brakes, WTB wheels, and the new Crank Brothers Directset headset. This bike is here waiting for a test ride and any fire roads or light trails you might encounter on it.

The folks at Surly sure have some things figured out. An exciting new addition to our shop is a 54 cm Travelers Check frameset. A twist on the classic and versatile Cross Check, this frame features S&S Couplers, allowing for easy disassembly during travel. The 4130 CRMO frame can be set up with external or internal gears or as a singlespeed / fixed gear bike thanks to its ridiculously long horizontal dropouts. Our plans for this one include the pictured WTB mountain drop bar, but the possibilities are endless...stop by to check it out and ask questions.

You might have seen our CDT ad featuring the new Strider push bikes. These little machines are perfect for getting your little ones used to two wheels. Their simple construction is super light weight and they come in six colors, all in stock here at Freeze Thaw. Check out the video to see them in action!

Our friend Tom Miller took it upon himself to fabricate some trick new fixie cogs that fit onto 6-bolt disc hubs. He calls them Tomi cogs and they are laser cut from stainless steel in his basement. Jordyn and I have been running them with great results and there is a 17 tooth cog here in stock. This one is pictured on a limited edition Surly 'John Brown' singlespeed disc hub, which we also have in stock....a match made in offroad fixie heaven.
